Contract briefs

See what the buyer really pays.

Pick any contract. We use Freedom of Information requests and published council spending to build a one-page brief, so you can price to win.

  • What the buyer pays the current supplier each year
  • The specification: sites, hours and frequencies
  • How bids were scored, and how many firms bid
  • Extension options and the planned re-tender date

Questions

Good to know.

Is the weekly briefing really free?

Yes. The Monday briefing is free for UK cleaning and FM firms. We charge only for in-depth contract briefs, and your first one is free.

Where does the data come from?

Public contract award notices on Contracts Finder and Find a Tender, council spending data published under the Local Government Transparency Code, and Freedom of Information responses. Values and dates are as published by buyers.

How is this different from a tender alert?

Tender alerts tell you when a contract is already out to bid, often with a few weeks to respond. We show you contracts months before they're re-tendered, so you can build the relationship and shape your price first.

Which areas do you cover?

All of the UK: councils, schools and academy trusts, colleges, universities, NHS bodies and housing associations.

What does a contract brief cost?

Your first brief is free. After that, briefs are priced per contract. Reply to any briefing email and we'll quote.
